UTM Consultants are looking for a Supply Chain Officer, to assist our client with their project offshore, UK.
Department description and responsibilities
The Supply Chain Officer ensures the organisation and implementation of the logistics process aimed at providing the client with timely access to assets at optimal condition. As a Supply Chain Officer you are responsible for assisting the Transport Department to manage the day-to-day transport execution for Fleet and Projects
Primary Tasks and responsibilities
- You are responsible for shipping supplies from the client's Head Quarters to the client fleet worldwide.
- You organize transports upon request from the client sites within EU.
- You coordinate between the internal clients, agent, custom representative, warehouse, and forwarder.
- You are responsible for the operational follow-up and the administration of these transports: ordering transport services, processing logistics administration such as pro- forma invoices and packing lists, ensure proper custom registration and administer dangerous goods etc
- You process contracted purchase orders or request offers from selected logistic partners and find the best solution (economic and within schedule).
Technical profile requirements
- You have a few years of experience in the logistics world, preferrable with multi-modal means of transport (air, road, sea).
- You have proper knowledge of legislation relating road, air or maritime transport.
- You have basic knowledge of customs regulations.
- Knowledge of regulations on dangerous goods is of added value.
- You like administration and are accurate.
- Communication with stakeholders by mail and phone.
- You strive for structure and planning in an everchanging maritime environment.
- You are solution- driven, stress proof and providing service is a second nature.
- You are fluent in Dutch (C2) and English.
- Proficient in MS Office and ERP systems (MAXIMO knowledge is a plus).

- Strong negotiation abilities, with a communicative, analytical, and results-oriented approach.
- Collaborative mindset with a hands-on mentality.
- Project management capabilities are required.
