Sales Administrator
Location: Hull, East Riding of Yorkshire
Salary: 26,000 - 28,000 per annum
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 4:30pm
Contract: Full-time, office-based
The Thrive Group is proud to be working as a recruitment agency on behalf of a well-established and growing business based in Hull. We are currently seeking a Sales Administrator to join a small, friendly, and high-performing team, with an immediate start available.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys customer interaction, administration, and supporting sales activity within a fast-paced, service-driven environment. Full training will be provided.
The Role
As a Customer Service / Support Representative, you will play a key role in supporting both customers and the internal sales function. Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing high-quality customer service and support
- Handling customer communication via phone, email, Microsoft Teams, and other channels
- Processing and inputting orders accurately using a bespoke CRM system
- Managing customer and sales enquiries in a timely and professional manner
- Liaising with internal and external colleagues to ensure smooth service delivery
- General administrative duties to support the wider team
- Upselling products and services across the existing customer base, in line with business growth objectives
About You
We're looking for someone who is organised, proactive, and customer-focused. The ideal candidate will have:
- Previous experience in a customer service or support role (preferred)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Good IT skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel
- Confidence in handling telephone-based communication and telesales activity
- GCSE-level Maths and English (or equivalent)
- A flexible and positive attitude, with a willingness to take on additional tasks when required
- Experience within parking, public transport, or similar sectors would be an advantage, but is not essential.
