Job Description

SF Recruitment are recruiting for a Management Accountant to join a fast-paced and growing organisation based in Solihull. This is an excellent opportunity for a part-qualified finance professional looking to further develop their management accounting experience within a supportive finance team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the preparation of monthly management accounts

  • Post and maintain accruals and prepayments

  • Manage revenue accruals and deferrals

  • Perform variance analysis and provide commentary against budget

  • Match costs to revenue to ensure accurate reporting

  • Complete balance sheet reconciliations

  • Investigate financial discrepancies and liaise with internal departments to resolve queries

  • Assist with ad-hoc financial analysis and reporting

Requirements

  • Experience in a similar role

  • Studying towards ACCA / CIMA

  • Strong Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/HLOOKUP, IF statements)

  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail

  • Ability to work to tight deadlines both independently and as part of a team

  • System savvy
