This includes managing transportation, warehousing, inventory, and distribution to ensure timely, cost-effective, and compliant delivery of material. The role requires strategic planning, cross-functional collaboration, and continuous improvement to enhance operational efficiency and customer satisfaction. You will support the Solihull LOC Plant operation and transition by. Delivering programme plans on time ensuring flawless launches and operations Ensuring robust compliance to audit standards and operational processes Develop and implement logistics strategies to streamline operations Ensuring delivery of the area's scorecard metrics Be able to process and action a complex range of data sets to show operational effectiveness and lead projects for improvement that contribute to best in class standards Be able to understand resource calculation tools and equivalent to drive waste reduction throughout the operation WHAT TO EXPECT A role focused on leading daily logistics operations, driving performance, and ensuring efficient, compliant and continuously improving material flow across the site. Provide clear leadership and direction to the shift team. Manage the daily operational interface with the Lead Logistics Provider. Oversee material storage and delivery across LOC and Solihull operations. Lead logistics projects and report progress to senior management. Optimise warehouse layout and fulfilment processes to improve efficiency. Ensure full compliance with audit standards across all logistics activities. WHAT YOU'LL NEED A role requiring deep supply chain expertise, strong analytical capability and the ability to drive high standards of operational performance across logistics and material planning activities. Extensive experience in material planning and logistics within a supply chain environment. High attention to detail with a strong commitment to operational excellence. Broad experience across multiple logistics functions, providing solid understanding of end to end processes. Knowledge of warehouse management operations, control processes and inventory flow.
