Head of Early Years
National role Reports to Operations Director
Kids Planet is seeking an exceptional Head of Early Years to lead and inspire our Early Years Advisory function across our growing group of nurseries.
This is a senior leadership role focused on driving high quality pedagogy, strengthening professional practice and building coaching capability at scale. The role is deliberately practice led and influence driven, ensuring excellence is embedded through visible leadership, mentoring and sustained support, not audit alone.
Working in close partnership with Operations, Training and Integrations, and Risk and Compliance, you will ensure our Framework for Excellence is meaningfully embedded across all regions and reflected in everyday nursery practice.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and develop the Early Years Advisor structure across all regions.
- Champion high quality curriculum delivery, inclusive practice and strong adult child interactions.
- Embed a coaching led model of quality improvement.
- Align training, safeguarding and quality insights to drive measurable improvement.
- Support inspection readiness and organisational learning.
- Provide strategic oversight of digital practice, including Famly.
About You
- Significant senior experience within multi site Early Years provision.
- Deep expertise in pedagogy, curriculum and quality improvement.
- Proven ability to lead and develop layered teams at scale.
- Strong coaching capability and influencing skills.
- Data literate, strategic and values driven.
