Client Details Well known organisation with a friendly finance team and a great culture Description Lead the preparation and review of corporate tax returns and filings, including maintaining supporting records. Manage VAT, PAYE, and indirect tax compliance, working closely with clearing agents on Customs duties and VAT processes. Oversee interim and year-end tax provision calculations in line with IFRS, and liaise with auditors to finalise statutory account disclosures. Prepare corporation tax forecasts and budgets. Maintain and monitor the group's tax governance policies, systems, and procedures to support the Senior Accounting Officer. Develop tax planning strategies to enhance efficiency and support business objectives. Provide expert tax advice across the business, including on transactions and by working with external advisers. Monitor regulatory changes and assess their impact on the organisation. Profile My client is looking for someone with the following experience: A relevant professional qualification (ACA, ACCA, CTA). Strong technical knowledge of UK tax legislation and HMRC requirements. Solid understanding of IFRS, UK GAAP, and how financial reporting interacts with tax. Significant experience in managing corporate tax matters in-house or within an accountancy firm. Experience preparing corporation tax computations and statutory reporting disclosures. Strong analytical skills, excellent attention to detail, and outstanding organisation skills. Confident communication skills, with the ability to explain complex tax concepts to non-specialists. Commercial awareness and strategic thinking. Experience managing HMRC relationships and external advisers. Job Offer Up to £500 per day (inside IR35) dependent on experience Hybrid working - c. 2-3 days in the office and 2-3 from home
