What you'll do:

This is a senior, hands-on role where you'll lead a talented team, partner closely across the business and drive range and space decisions that truly make a difference.

  • Lead, coach and develop a high-performing Range & Space Planning team, setting clear direction and standards
  • Own and deliver range reviews, trials and space transformation projects from concept through to store execution
  • Use data-led insight to optimise ranging, space allocation and store clustering across the UK & Ireland estate
  • Oversee the design, build and maintenance of planograms, ensuring they align with merchandising principles and customer needs
  • Partner with Trading, Marketing, Supply Chain and Store Operations to deliver commercially sound, customer-led solutions
  • Provide clear insight and recommendations to support strategic and longer-term space planning decisions
  • Drive continuous improvement in tools, processes and ways of working

Who you are:

  • Proven experience in a senior space planning, merchandising or range planning role within a head office retail environment
  • Strong leadership experience, with a track record of developing and engaging teams
  • Advanced analytical capability, with confidence turning complex data into clear, actionable insight
  • Deep understanding of planograms, store clustering, range architecture and space optimisation
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence at senior levels
  • A collaborative, curious mindset and a drive to keep improving how things are done
