Job Title: AC Improver

Location: Enfield

Job Overview

We are currently seeking a reliable and experienced AC Improver to work on sites across London. This role will involve assisting qualified Air Conditioning Engineers with the installation, maintenance, and servicing of air conditioning systems. Due to the nature of the sites, a valid DBS clearance is essential.

Key Responsibilities

• Assisting AC Engineers with installation and maintenance of air conditioning systems
• Supporting with pipework, containment, and basic electrical tasks (under supervision)
• Handling tools, materials, and equipment safely on site
• Carrying out basic fault-finding and remedial tasks where appropriate
• Ensuring work areas are kept clean, safe, and organised
• Following all health & safety procedures and site regulations
• Working professionally on sensitive or secure sites

Requirements

• Previous experience as an AC Improver or HVAC Mate
• Valid DBS clearance (essential)
• CSCS card (essential)
• Basic knowledge of air conditioning systems and tools
• Own basic tools and PPE
• Good communication skills and a professional attitude
• Ability to work well as part of a team

Desirable (but not essential)

• F-Gas qualification (Category 1 or 2)
• IPAF or PASMA
• Experience working in schools, hospitals, or secure buildings
