Reprographics Operator

Job Overview

An exciting opportunity has become available for a Reprographics Operator to join Service Graphics, part of the Paragon Group. Known for its work in display graphics, print, design, mail, and software solutions, Service Graphics will now operate as part of Paragon's Marketing Services division.

This role is critical to ensuring production excellence, and is a key role in driving service performance and operational efficiency within a fast-paced, client-focused environment.

Your main duties would include:

• To ensure relevant service levels are met.
• To ensure all quality control procedures are adhered to maintain a high level of quality for clients.
• To set up and operate digital print production devices to an advanced level of proficiency, focusing on small format devices
• To perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on devices.
• Implement stock control procedures set out by the Business Manager.
• To support colleagues and work as a team to achieve the best results for clients.
• To be responsible for managing workflow tickets via workflow platform from submission to delivery to customer.
• Responsible for tracking own activities and report to daily to the Business Manager.
• Responsible for complying with health and safety site operational procedures.

Skills and Attributes we are looking for

• Able to work on own initiative and as part of a team.
• Excellent customer service, organisational and communication skills.
• Demonstrated a proactive approach to work and an eye for detail.
• Excellent computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
• Experience of working under pressure and meeting tight customer deadlines.
• Experience of pre-flighting files, imposition software such as Fiery and Caldera, or similar would be beneficial
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to learn new software and processes quickly.
• High level of attention to detail and commitment to service quality.
• Flexible and responsive to changing customer or production requirements.
• Existing experience of Reprographics working with small format print
• Experience working with Adobe Creative suite, Photoshop or Artwork would be highly beneficial
