Your new roleAs a Data Architect Specialist within Research & Development, you'll design and implement the data infrastructure that enables our scientists to push the boundaries of drug discovery and development. You'll be at the intersection of cutting edge technology and life changing science, creating scalable data solutions that support AI driven research, clinical trials, and transformative therapies.

You will join the Data Ingestion team within the AI and Digital Innovation organisation, partnering closely with Data Science, AI & Analytics and data producing departments across R&D. Together we scale data infrastructure and pipelines that underpin analytics, ML modelling and research.
Your skills & qualificationsAs a person, you excel at building strong relationships and translating complex technical concepts into clear, accessible language for non technical stakeholders. You combine a structured, analytical mindset with solid experience in data modelling, governance, cloud platforms, and modern data engineering practices. You are collaborative, solution oriented, and innovative, always keeping business value and patient impact at the forefront while ensuring high quality, reliable data solutions.
