Job Description

RM Recruit are delighted to be working with a successful, dynamic Redditch based company who are actively seeking an experienced and proactive HR Manager to join their team on a full-time, permanent basis. Based at their Redditch site, this role will also require regular travel to additional company locations in High Wycombe and Nottingham on a weekly or fortnightly basis, supporting managers and employees across the wider business.

The HR Manager will play a key role in delivering a comprehensive HR service, partnering with senior leaders to support business objectives while ensuring best practice and compliance with employment legislation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide expert HR advice and guidance to managers and employees across multiple sites
  • Lead on employee relations matters, including disciplinaries, grievances, absence management, and performance issues
  • Support recruitment, onboarding and retention strategies
  • Develop, review, and implement HR policies and procedures
  • Ensure compliance with employment law and promote best practice across the organisation
  • Support learning, development, and workforce planning initiatives
  • Produce and analyse HR metrics to inform decision-making
  • Build strong working relationships with stakeholders at all levels

Person Specification:

  • Proven experience in a generalist HR Manager (or similar senior HR) role
  • Strong working knowledge of UK employment law
  • Confident operating in a multi-site environment and willing to travel regularly
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work autonomously while contributing effectively to the wider management team
  • CIPD qualification (Level 5 or above) is desirable
