Role Objective

To ensure accurate costing, pricing strategy implementation, and profitability analysis across business units, enabling sustainable financial performance and competitive positioning.

Key Responsibilities
  • Business Transformation
    • Ensure timeliness and relevance of pricing recommendations to support business decisions.
    • Regularly review pricing models and adjust for market dynamics and financial risks.
    • Implement pricing strategies to prevent margin erosion due to discounting or cost escalations.
    • Conduct profitability analysis across dimensions
    • Collaborate with Sales and Operations to align pricing with market conditions and business goals.
  • Financial Performance
    • Monitor customer feedback and adjust pricing to improve retention and competitiveness.
    • Perform regular analysis of cost structures and pricing elasticity to optimize margins.
    • Track and manage cost inputs impacting pricing decisions.
    • Compare actual vs. approved pricing and report variances for corrective actions.
  • Process & Compliance
    • Provide day-to-day support to Business Units on costing and pricing matters.
    • Ensure implementation and adherence to pricing policies and tools.
    • Work proactively with Pricing and Commercial teams to resolve issues.
    • Ensure zero critical observations in internal audits related to pricing and costing compliance.
  • Competition Benchmarking
    • Conduct regular competitive analysis to benchmark pricing strategies against industry standards.
    • Identify market trends and competitor pricing models to recommend strategic adjustments.
    • Provide insights on cost competitiveness and suggest measures to maintain market leadership.

Educational Qualification
  • Chartered Accountant with relevant industry and pricing experience.
