About The Role

As our new Payroll Officer, you'll play a meaningful role in supporting our people by ensuring their pay is accurate, timely, and handled with genuine care.

What You'll Be Doing
  • Supporting the Group Payroll Manager to keep payroll running smoothly across the Group
  • Processing overtime and monthly pay changes with accuracy
  • Completing essential payroll checks before processing
  • Assisting with annual pay reviews and helping colleagues with payroll queries
  • Supporting monthly pension reporting and submissions
  • Preparing data for P11Ds and payrolling benefits
  • Ensuring payroll processes meet internal standards and legislation
  • Keeping employee data accurate and up to date in our HR and payroll systems
  • Conducting regular audits and data checks
  • Supporting archiving and retention of payroll and HR documentation
  • Processing staff expenses and Barclaycard claims
  • Collating information for annual benefit renewals and managing joiners/leavers
  • Maintaining confidentiality at all times
  • Collaborating closely with colleagues in HR and Finance
What We're Looking For
  • Strong numeracy skills and confidence using Microsoft Excel and Word
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Strong organisational skills and comfort with routine processes
  • Sensitivity when handling confidential information
  • Ability to manage deadlines and prioritise effectively
  • Warm and clear communication skills
