This thriving nursery is looking for a confident leader to guide the established team to provide high quality care and learning. The nursery supports a curiosity approach, forest school activities, learning in nature and a child led environment. You will be responsible for the day-to-day running of the nursery and be confident to work with outside agencies, the area manager and the group directors. The nursery is part of a small group, so there is a strong support network. You will need an in-depth knowledge of the EYFS, experience in leading a team, excellent communication and organisational skills, experience managing budgets and IT literacy.
The nursery caters for up to 100 children with a close community in the town of Devizes. It provides spaces for children 0-school age across 4 indoor play spaces and large outdoor areas, including an allotment, wooded area and safe, enclosed play spaces for our youngest children. We believe in the power of play, the magic of imagination and the importance of early years education.
Responsibilities
- Lead the day-to-day running of the nursery and manage the established team.
- Collaborate with outside agencies, the area manager and group directors.
- Uphold the nursery's child-led, nature-based learning approach and EYFS requirements.
Qualifications & Experience
- In-depth knowledge of the EYFS.
- Experience of leading a team.
- Excellent communication and organisation skills.
- Experience of managing budgets.
- IT literate.

- Pay: £37,000-£42,000 gross per annum (dependent on experience and qualifications)
