About the Role:

As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teachers to deliver engaging and differentiated lessons, providing one-to-one support to students and assisting with classroom management. You will play an important role in the school's educational team, helping to support the academic, social, and emotional development of students across a variety of key stages.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supporting Classroom Instruction: Assist teachers in delivering engaging and inclusive lessons, tailored to the diverse learning needs of students.
• Individual & Group Support: Provide additional support to students who require extra help, ensuring they meet their learning targets and achieve their potential.
• Differentiated Learning: Adapt lesson content and resources to cater for individual learning needs, ensuring all students can engage with the curriculum.
• Behavioural Support: Help maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment, supporting students with emotional or behavioural challenges.
• Monitoring Progress: Assist in tracking and evaluating student progress to ensure learning objectives are met.
• Safeguarding & Wellbeing: Contribute to the school's commitment to safeguarding, ensuring the welfare and wellbeing of all students.

Essential Qualifications:

• A genuine passion for education and supporting student development.

• A clear DBS check (or willingness to undergo one).

Desirable:

• Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent).
• Experience supporting students with special educational needs (SEN).
