Northwood College for Girls has an exciting opportunity to recruit a proactive and hardworking Junior ICT Technician to join our dynamic IT Department.
This role offers the chance to play a key part in delivering high-quality ICT services across the school. The successful candidate will support a busy programme of events, projects and day-to-day operations, ensuring staff and students receive reliable, responsive technical support.
Key responsibilities will include monitoring and supporting the school's ICT systems and users, assisting with the installation and upgrade of hardware and software, and helping to maintain the security and integrity of the school's systems.
We are looking for someone with experience in delivering customer-focused ICT support and a practical, solution-driven approach. A positive "can-do" attitude and willingness to learn are essential. Experience or exposure to Windows 11, Active Directory, Group Policy, AV equipment, Apple OS/iOS and Chromebooks would be advantageous, though not all are required.
The role provides support during core hours of 7.45am to 4.15pm on a rota basis. Flexibility is essential, as occasional after-school and weekend support will be required for events and productions.
We are also open to applications from apprentices or those seeking an apprenticeship opportunity, as well as candidates at an early stage of their ICT career who are keen to develop their skills within a supportive educational environment.
