Overview

Job title: Head of HR

Location: Manchester • Salary: £55k - £67k • Hybrid working

This is a 6-month fixed-term contract (FTC) initially. The client will consider someone who is looking for full-time or part-time work (minimum 3 days per week).

Responsibilities
  • Lead and develop the People & Culture team
  • Act as a trusted HR adviser to senior leaders
  • Ensure compliance with UK employment law and regulatory requirements
  • Drive continuous improvement across HR services and systems
  • Support organisational change, workforce planning and reward
  • Champion equality, diversity, inclusion and wellbeing
Qualifications
  • CIPD Level 7 (or equivalent) and Chartered CIPD membership
  • Senior HR leadership experience in a complex or regulated environment
  • Strong employment law knowledge and employee relations expertise
  • Excellent leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills
  • A collaborative, values-led and solution-focused approach
