salary: up to £30,000 + bonus

you know collections isn t about scripts it s about judgement, empathy, and getting the right outcome. if you re experienced in managing arrears, handling complex conversations, and balancing customer care with commercial sense, this is a role where your skills will genuinely be valued.

what you ll do

  • lead customer conversations across phone, email, and digital channels with confidence and control

  • assess complex arrears cases, uncover root causes, and agree sustainable repayment solutions

  • make sound, compliant decisions while maintaining a fair and empathetic approach

  • identify vulnerability indicators and work closely with specialist support teams

  • collaborate with credit administration on case actions, documentation, and resolutions

  • maintain high-quality case notes, accurate systems, and consistently strong compliance and quality scores

you ll be great at this if you

  • have proven experience in collections, arrears management, or credit control

  • are confident handling difficult, sometimes emotive conversations

  • bring strong judgement and integrity to every decision you make

  • communicate clearly and professionally, building trust quickly

  • stay calm under pressure and take ownership of outcomes
