Primary School Teacher Merthyr Tydfil South East Wales

We are seeking experienced and dedicated Primary School teachers to join a busy primary school in the Merthyr Tydfil area. This role offers an excellent opportunity for teachers who are passionate about supporting learners within Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2. The school is committed to providing a nurturing environment that promotes educational success and development.

The ideal candidate will have proven experience working with children in primary education, particularly in KS1 and KS2 settings. Knowledge of safeguarding policies and current educational standards within Wales is essential. The role involves planning, delivering, and assessing a broad curriculum that meets the needs of diverse learners. Strong behaviour management skills and the ability to adapt teaching methods to suit individual needs are also crucial.

This Primary School Teacher role is based in a well-established school in the Merthyr Tydfil area and offers flexible hours, including full-time or part-time options. The working hours are Monday to Friday, from 8:30 am to 3:00 pm. The pay rate is £173.00 per day, with opportunities for ongoing and temp-to-perm placements for suitable candidates.

Candidates should hold or be working towards a recognised teaching qualification such as QTS or its equivalent. Experience working with SEN or in specialist provision is desirable but not essential. A strong understanding of Ofsted standards and safeguarding requirements is necessary to ensure compliance and the highest standards of care and education.
