Job Description

Head of Brand (12mth FTC) Let's transform banking forever.

ClearBank is built on the belief that banking infrastructure shouldn't slow down progress. Quite the opposite. Speed it up and that's when you unlock potential. When you really start to innovate.

That spirit and 'can-do' attitude is why our clients - from FinTech's and crypto platforms, to banks and credit unions - choose to use our API to power their banking infrastructure.

But it's our people who are the stars here. They power that innovation, push harder to break boundaries. They make coming to work (or working from home) fun. They're the ones we trust to catapult our clients to success. Just as they trust us to build a business that's always striding forward.

What you can expect:

ClearBank is a place where you can do things differently and challenge the status quo. We will give you a high level of autonomy and transparency, and we trust you to make the right decisions for the bank.

If that excites you, how about joining our Marketing team as a Head of Brand? Reporting to the Head of Marketing, you'll define and drive our brand's strategic direction, ensuring every touchpoint reflects a clear, consistent, and compelling identity. You'll lead the development of our overarching brand strategy, shaping how we show up across digital, content, campaign, and experiential channels.

You'll oversee high impact initiatives that require close collaboration across marketing, product, client management, and creative teams - providing the strategic leadership, brand clarity, and operational direction needed to bring them to life.

You'll be hands-on guiding the planning, rollout, and optimisation of brand led campaigns that drive brand awareness and revenue growth across both online and offline channels. This is a key leadership role within the marketing function, driving the brand forward, building client and partner trust and contributing to long-term growth across all entities.

  • Oversee the ClearBank website, guiding UX/UI enhancements, content design, on-page and technical SEO optimisation, and analytics frameworks to ensure a seamless brand experience and measurable ROI.
  • Work cross-functionally across the business including, but not limited to, Product, UX Revenue, Revenue Operations, and Tech teams to ensure brand strategy is integrated in key initiatives to drive consistency across the business.
  • Lead and mentor the Brand team of four, fostering an environment of collaboration, creativity and excellence.
  • Oversee the creation of high-quality design assets for digital, print, and events, ensuring they reflect the ClearBank brand and drive engagement.
  • Manage relationships with external brand agencies and freelancers, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to brand standards.
  • Manage the brand budget, ensuring efficient allocation of spend across brand agencies, freelancers, campaigns, channels with a clear measurement of impact and ROI.
  • Work closely with the Events and Sponsorships Team to support the events strategy, from building out event themes, designing stands and collateral to social media promotion.
  • Partner closely with People and Leadership to evolve and drive the employer brand strategy, ensuring it authentically reflects ClearBank's culture, values and ambition - telling our story in a way that attracts, engages and retains talent.
  • Oversee the organic social media strategy, positioning ClearBank as a global leader for clearing and embedded banking solutions and ensuring one voice across all social channels (including but not limited to X and LinkedIn).
  • Collaborate with Product and Demand Marketing to plan and execute campaign launches, translating products and services into compelling brand narratives across channels including but not limited to the website, organic social and email marketing.
  • Lead the creation of effective marketing content, including (but not limited to) video campaigns, photoshoots, online and offline advertisements, and email campaigns.
  • Support the team to prioritise inbound brand marketing requests, translating requests into clear briefs for appropriate internal teams or agency partners.
