The Role

A vacancy has arisen for a Material Handling at our Production/Warehouse facility at Markham Vale.

Reporting to the Warehouse & Logistics Manager, you will be responsible for the day to day operations within the warehouse as well as the safe and efficient loading/unloading of vehicles, whilst health and safety is adhered to at all times.

The role involves working a 12 hour continental shift pattern.

This challenging role demands a proactive hands on approach, complimented with a can do attitude, accuracy, attention to detail and the ability to be able to work to deadlines and laid down procedures. You will be responsible for a team of operatives on your shift and will be expected to lead by example at all times.

THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE MUST HAVE:

  • Counter-balance license and experience Essential
  • Excellent time management with a flexible approach to work
  • Warehouse management systems experience (preferably Vision)
  • Stock control experience/Goods in-out experience
  • Skills : accuracy, attention to detail, reliability
  • Able to work to tight deadlines and targets - under own initiative and as part of a team
  • Naturally self-motivated and have the ability to work under minimum supervision
  • The willingness to carry out other tasks as and when required
