3.5 Tonne Driver Gas Cylinder Collection

The Role

We are currently recruiting an 3.5 tonne driver that is ADR-qualified for ongoing work involving the collection and transportation of gas cylinders. The majority of routes are based in Lancashire (approximately 90%), with additional work across Yorkshire.

The role includes some more complex runs and associated paperwork. Training will be provided, particularly around gas cylinder identification.

Key Responsibilities

• Driving a 3.5 tonne vehicle for gas cylinder collections and deliveries

• Correct identification and safe handling of gas cylinders (training provided)

• Completion of delivery notes and compliance paperwork

• Adherence to ADR, safety, and company procedures

• Manual handling of cylinders (some are heavy; equipment provided)

Requirements

• Valid ADR licence (essential)

• Full UK driving licence (suitable for 3.5 tonne vehicle)

• Previous ADR or hazardous goods experience preferred

• Comfortable with paperwork and compliance documentation

• Reliable, professional, and safety-conscious
