Join Vision Express in Romford Roneo as a store manager and take the next step in your optical retail career. This is a small, well established Tesco store with two optometrists and four experienced retail optical assistants, making it a great opportunity for someone stepping into, or developing within, store management.
We're looking for a reliable, people focused leader with a positive, honest approach - someone who builds strong customer relationships, brings energy to the role, and consistently delivers excellent service and NPS growth.
About the roleAs Store Manager, you'll lead and support an experienced team to deliver outstanding customer experiences while driving store performance. You'll be hands on on the shop floor, role modelling Vision Express values and ensuring every customer feels cared for.
You'll be responsible for:- Leading, motivating and developing your team
- Driving customer satisfaction, loyalty and NPS
- Managing daily operations, performance and resource planning
- Upholding Vision Express standards and brand values
- Building long term relationships with customers and colleagues
- Strong customer focus and passion for service
- Confidence leading a small, established retail team
- Positive energy, reliability and emotional intelligence
- A hands on leadership style with good problem solving skills
- Ability to improve performance and drive results
Experience in optical retail or store management is beneficial, but we welcome applications from candidates ready for their first Store Manager role.
