Grounds Maintenance Contracts Manager

A Grounds Maintenance Contracts Manager is required by one of the UK's leading Horticulture and Grounds maintenance specialists

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Managing around 10 operatives who all work by themselves and remotely (straight to site from home).
• Scheduling the operatives day to day
• Loading their proof of delivery handsets each morning
• Troubleshooting issues during the day such as sickness, site access, vans/machinery breakdowns
• Hiring new staff, disciplining existing staff if needed
• Meeting with staff and clients
• Managing email mailboxes and dealing with client requests

The areas covered are Bucks, Berks, West Herts, Surrey, Sussex areas.

The salary is 45k to 50k + a company car and other benefits and all candidates must be able to pass Surrey and Sussex police vetting.

The expectation is that you will be in the office 3 days a week, and visiting clients and staff on the other 2 days (with your laptop)
