Banksman/Yardsman

My Client is currently seeking to recruit a Warehouse Operative/Banksman to work with them on a temporary ongoing basis.

A Banksman (or Traffic Marshal/Signaller) directs vehicle movement on worksites, acting as the driver's "eyes" to ensure safety by preventing collisions with people or other equipment, using hand signals or radios to guide manoeuvres like reversing, loading, and unloading. Key duties involve hazard identification, maintaining clear work areas, managing traffic flow, and ensuring adherence to safety protocols for complex operations like crane lifts, making them crucial for site health & safety.

This role will also be reporting to the Warehouse Supervisor and will also include Scanning stock in warehouse.

Previous experience desired but not essential.

Times of work; 18:00 - 02:30am

Days of work; Mon to Fri

Rates of pay;

06 00 £12.61 per hour

20 00 £15.46 per hour

Duration of contract; Ongoing no end date
