Integration Engineer
Contract: 12 months
Location: Hereford (4 days per week onsite, occasional travel to Gloucester)
Rate: 600 - 650 per day (Umbrella, Inside IR35)

Security Clearance:

• Must hold live SC clearance (used within the last 12 months)
• Must be eligible for DV clearance

The Role

We are looking for an experienced Integration Engineer to support a high-profile programme based at a secure customer site in Hereford. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys working across systems, acting as a technical bridge between software teams, infrastructure, and end users.

You'll be a senior technical contributor on the project, working closely with customers and development teams to integrate Linux-based systems, containerised services, and mobile platforms within a secure environment.

Key Responsibilities

• System administration of multiple Linux machines running critical services
• Deployment, configuration and management of containerised applications (Docker / Podman)
• Setup and configuration of applications and services across Linux and Android systems
• Integration of mobile and server-based systems
• Administration of mobile device management (MDM) solutions

Required Skills & Experience

• Proven system integration experience
• Strong Linux system administration background
• Hands-on experience with containerisation technologies (Docker / Podman)
• Working knowledge of networking and secure systems (expert level not required)
• Experience working with Android devices in a technical environment
• Ability to write software (not language-specific expert level)
• Practical experience with Java and Kotlin
