Warehouse Operatives De-kit Site (West Thurrock)
Location: West Thurrock (Approx. 40-minute walk from Chafford Hundred Station)
Type: Temporary to Permanent Opportunities Available
Start Date: Immediate Starts Available

Shift Pattern:

• 12:00 - 21:30

• Current shift pattern: Friday to Tuesday

• Please note: This schedule will include weekend work (Saturdays & Sundays)

• Includes a 30-minute unpaid break each shift

Pay Rates:

• £14.60/hour (Sub-contractor/Umbrella)

• Equivalent to £12.21/hour PAYE

Key Responsibilities:

• De-kitting incoming lorries containing cages of cardboard, plastic, and food waste

• Separating and preparing waste materials for baling and recycling

• Pushing and pulling cages across the site this role is physically demanding and will require you to be on your feet for the full shift

• Stacking plastic trays onto pallets for return to the distribution centre

• Maintaining a clean and safe working environment at all times

What We re Looking For:

• Good level of physical fitness

• Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic

• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, recycling-focused warehouse environment

• Previous warehouse experience is beneficial but not essential
