Senior Support Worker

Dedicated and compassionate Support Worker with experience supporting children and young people in an 16+ residential care settings. Experience in managing challenging behaviour, promoting emotional well-being, and maintaining a safe and nurturing environment.

Skilled in promoting independence, giving advice and encouragement regarding personal care, and building positive relationships.

Holds NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care.

Trained in safeguarding, trauma-informed care, and de-escalation techniques.

Education & Training:

• Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or Health and Social Care with Children & Young People)
• Safeguarding Children Level 2/3
• First Aid and Fire Safety
• Team Teach / MAPA (if applicable)
