SEND Inclusion Support Worker Primary (Leeds)

Temporary Full-Time or Part-Time Term Time Only

PK Education are currently recruiting SEND Inclusion Support Workers to support primary-aged pupils across mainstream and inclusive school settings in the Leeds area.

These roles are ideal for experienced support staff who are confident working with children with additional and complex needs, and who can provide consistent, calm, and inclusive classroom support. The Role

  • Supporting pupils with SEND on a 1:1 or small-group basis
  • Working collaboratively with class teachers and SENCOs
  • Supporting emotional regulation, engagement, and access to learning
  • Implementing agreed strategies and inclusive classroom adjustments
  • Promoting positive behaviour and inclusion within the school setting

Requirements

Candidates must have:

  • Teaching Assistant Level 2 qualification or above
  • Up-to-date Safeguarding training
  • Prevent awareness training
  • FGM awareness training
  • Trauma-informed practice training
  • Team Teach (or equivalent behaviour management training)

You must also be:

  • Available to work immediately
  • Flexible to work Monday Friday, 8:30am 3:30pm
  • Able to commit to term-time only hours
  • Comfortable working on a full-time or part-time temporary basis
