Job Description
A Maintenance Engineer/ Mechanical Maintenance Engineer/ Electrical Maintenance Engineer is required for a leading manufacturer based in Birmingham.
The A Maintenance Engineer/ Mechanical Maintenance Engineer/ Electrical Maintenance Engineer will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation, reliability, and safety of all factory machinery, plant equipment, and facilities. This is a hands-on role focused on preventative maintenance, fault finding, and continuous improvement to maximise uptime and support production efficiency.

The A Maintenance Engineer/ Mechanical Maintenance Engineer/ Electrical Maintenance Engineer will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation, reliability, and safety of all factory machinery, plant equipment, and facilities. This is a hands-on role focused on preventative maintenance, fault finding, and continuous improvement to maximise uptime and support production efficiency.
Package:
- Paying up to 48,000
- Week A: 7-4 Monday to Thursday and Friday 8-1
- Week B: 11-8 Monday to Thursday and Friday 8-1
- Ongoing training and development opportunities
- Carry out routine maintenance and repairs across factory machinery.
- Fault-finding and troubleshooting to minimise downtime and improve equipment reliability.
- Support equipment installations and commissioning of new machinery.
- Be able to commute to Birmingham and are happy to travel
- Strong capabilities in both Mechanical and Electrical
- Proven experience as a Maintenance Engineer/ Mechanical Maintenance Engineer/ Electrical Maintenance Engineer within a manufacturing or production environment
- Recognised qualifications in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
- Knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics, and robotic systems desirable.
- Strong understanding of TPM / PPM systems, health and safety procedures, and contractor management
- Be able to commute to Birmingham and are happy to travel
