Graduate Teaching Assistant Immediate Start
Secondary School in Great Missenden Long-term, Part-time Start: ASAP
Daily Rate: £85 £110

Are you a recent graduate with a passion for education and a desire to make a meaningful difference? A friendly and inclusive secondary school in Great Missenden is looking for a Graduate Teaching Assistant to join their dedicated support team immediately.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide tailored academic and emotional support to students, including those with additional needs (ASD, ADHD, SEMH, speech and language difficulties)
  • Work collaboratively with teachers and the SENCO to implement personalised learning strategies and support EHCP goals
  • Help foster a safe, inclusive, and engaging classroom atmosphere
  • Support students in both whole-class and small group settings
  • Build positive relationships with students, staff, and families to promote progress and wellbeing

The Ideal Candidate Will:

  • Be a recent graduate with a genuine interest in education and supporting young people
  • Have experience working with children or young people (school-based experience is a plus but not essential)
  • Be empathetic, patient, and resilient
  • Possess strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Be committed to safeguarding and continuous professional development
