Floor Layer - Social Housing

Location: Liverpool / Wirral area
Pay Rate: 20.25 per hour - Umbrella PAYE
Contract: Long-term work Temp to Perm
Hours: Full-time

We are recruiting an experienced Floor Layer to join a busy social housing maintenance contractor operating across the Liverpool and Wirral areas. This is a long-term opportunity with the potential to move from temporary to permanent for the right candidate.

You will be carrying out flooring works in both occupied and void social housing properties, delivering high-quality finishes while maintaining excellent customer service.

• Laying and repairing vinyl flooring

• Installing wet room flooring, including cap and cove

• Working within occupied social housing properties

• Ensuring all work meets required quality and health & safety standards

• Updating jobs and completing works via PDA/mobile systems

• Providing a professional and respectful service to tenants

• NVQ Level 2 in Floor Laying (or equivalent)

• Proven experience with vinyl flooring, wet rooms, and cap and cove

• Previous experience working in social housing

• Confident using PDA/mobile job management systems

• Full clean UK driving licence

• Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively

• 20.25 per hour (Umbrella PAYE)

• Company van and fuel card provided
