Salary: Estimated earnings including allowances: £43,000
(Salary scale 5-6, £30,333-£35,772 + market rate £5000 supplement per annum, plus additional allowances)

Our Support Service functions work in collaboration across North Yorkshire Police and North Yorkshire Fire & Rescue Service, providing vital shared expertise to deliver efficient and effective service to our communities.
The Opportunity
We re looking for a Vehicle Technician (Heavy) to join our team.
As a Vehicle Technician, you ll play a vital role in maintaining and servicing our fleet of heavy vehicles (greater than 7.5 tonnes), ensuring they are safe, reliable, and ready to support frontline emergency operations. You ll work closely with transport leadership team and colleagues across the organisation to deliver high-quality, customer-focused services that meet key performance indicators and service level agreements.
