Executive Chef Manager - Maidenhead (SL6)
40,000 per annum + 2,000 bonus
45 hours per week Monday-Friday Term-time only No weekends

We at Class 1 Personnel, are recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced and passionate Executive Chef Manager to lead the catering operation at a school in Maidenhead (SL6). This is a fantastic opportunity to build a long-term career while enjoying an exceptional work-life balance, working just 45 weeks per year with all weekends off.

The Role

Our client places people at the heart of their operation and is seeking a Chef Manager with strong craft skills and proven leadership experience. You will be responsible for delivering a high-quality, nutritious food offer that supports students' well-being and encourages healthier lifestyle choices.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing day-to-day kitchen operations
  • Menu planning and high-quality food preparation
  • Leading, training, and developing the kitchen team
  • Stock control, budgeting, and cost management
  • Ensuring full compliance with food safety and hygiene standards
  • Delivering excellent customer satisfaction

An after-school club operates on site, serving up to 80 children. Cover for this service will be required on some days and shared with a second chef.
