Location: Crawley area
Salary: 40,000- 47,000 per annum

A leading provider of engineering services to heavy industry is seeking a Mechanical Service Engineer ideally with Aggregate experience. The role involves travelling to client sites to perform mechanical repairs, maintenance, and fault-finding on rotating equipment, turbines, pumps, and BOP systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Diagnose, repair, and maintain rotating equipment and auxiliary plant

• Conduct inspections, fault-finding, and prepare technical reports

• Assist with planned projects, outages, and workshop activities

• Use measuring tools such as micrometers and alignment equipment

• Manage schedules efficiently and work independently or in a team

• Be available for callouts and occasional overnight stays

Skills & Experience:

• Mechanical qualification (ONC, HNC, NVQ, or equivalent)

• Proven experience in fault finding, repair, installation, and commissioning

• Knowledge of heavy engineering sectors, ideally Aggregates

• OEM pump or turbine experience desirable

• Full driving licence required

• Strong technical, communication, and customer service skills
