Position: Air Conditioning Engineer

Location : Reading/Swindon/Bristol

Salary/Benefits:

• Salary up to £40,000pa
• Travel paid (minus 30 minutes each way)
• 1 in 6 on-call rota (£100 standby allowance)
• £5 daily lunch allowance (tax free, minimum 5 hours worked)

• OTE 60,000 with overtime

Company Overview

We are a well-established business with over 35 years in the industry, employing more than 100 engineers and 50 office staff nationwide. From Birmingham to the South Coast, we deliver commercial gas and electrical services to a wide range of clients, including Greene King pubs, Premier Inns, and Brewer Fayres.

Due to continued growth and new contract wins, we are now looking to recruit an experienced Air Conditioning Engineer on the M4 corridor to carry out maintenance and reactive works across our portfolio.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned and reactive maintenance on VRV, VRF and Split systems
• Visiting public houses, restaurants, bars and hotels.
• Troubleshooting and diagnosing problems with air conditioning systems, and repairing or replacing components as required
• Ensuring that all work is carried out in compliance with health and safety regulations
• Responding promptly to emergency call-outs and carrying out repairs as necessary
• Field based meeting clients - Customer facing position

Essential Qualifications & Experience

• FGAS
• Drivers license

Package

• 40-hour working week.
• £40,000pa
• 1 in 6 callout rota with additional payments.
• Overtime at time + half.
• £100 standby allowance.
• Travel time paid over 1 hour.
• £5 daily lunch allowance (tax free).
• 20 days annual leave + 8 bank holidays.
