We're looking for a proactive, detail driven SharePoint Administrator to take ownership of our SharePoint Online and Microsoft 365 collaboration services. • Run and optimise our SharePoint Online environment - from site provisioning to lifecycle management.
• Shape information architecture: hub sites, navigation, metadata, content types, retention, and search.
• Manage permissions and access controls across SharePoint, M365 groups, and Azure AD.
• Enforce governance standards and ensure compliance with banking and regulatory requirements.
• Provide expert 2nd/3rd line support, resolving issues around permissions, sync, search, and integrations.
• Lead root cause analysis, maintain documentation, and strengthen operational processes.
• Partner with Security, Risk, and Compliance teams on audits, evidence, and secure configuration.
• Drive service improvements, automation, and controlled rollouts of new features.
• Act as a trusted advisor to business teams on SharePoint best practice and site design.

• Strong hands on experience administering SharePoint Online in a medium to large organisation.
• Solid understanding of M365 access models, governance, and information architecture.
• Confident troubleshooting skills and a structured approach to incident/problem/change management.
• Experience working in regulated environments (banking/insurance/public sector ideal).
• Clear communication skills and the ability to guide non technical users.
• A mindset focused on continuous improvement, automation, and reducing operational risk.
• MS 102, SC 900, SC 300, SC 400, PL 900, AZ 900, ITIL 4 Foundation - or equivalent real world experience.
• Someone who is analytical, organised, collaborative, and comfortable owning a critical service that the entire Bank relies on.
