We are seeking an experienced and motivated Residential Conveyancer to join our client's Residential Property Department. This is an excellent opportunity for a confident conveyancing professional to manage a varied caseload independently while delivering exceptional client service. The successful candidate will bring strong technical knowledge, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to maintaining high professional standards.
The Key Responsibilities of the Residential Conveyancer:
Independently manage a full and varied caseload including:
o Sales and purchases
o Leasehold and freehold transactions
o Newbuild matters
o Transfers of equity
Produce high quality, accurate work with minimal supervision
Maintain excellent communication and accessibility for clients
Ensure sound financial management of files, including billing and monitoring of costs
Support the firm in achieving and maintaining accreditations such as Lexcel and CQS
Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure smooth and efficient departmental operations
The Key Requirements of the Residential Conveyancer:
Essential:
Minimum 2-3 years' proven experience in residential conveyancing
Strong technical knowledge across all aspects of residential property transactions
Commitment to excellent client care and high professional standards
Ability to manage a caseload independently and efficiently
Desirable:
Experience working within quality standards frameworks such as Lexcel or CQS
Relevant legal qualifications such as Solicitor, CILEX, or equivalent
