Senior Structural Engineer

We're looking for an experienced Structural Engineer to join the Poole office of a dynamic multidisciplinary consultancy with a strong reputation for delivering innovative and sustainable engineering solutions. With their Poole office expanding, we are looking to recruit a Senior Structural Engineer to strengthen their growing Structural Engineering team. This is an excellent opportunity to step into a senior role within a progressive and supportive consultancy.

As a Senior Structural Engineer, you'll take the lead on a variety of exciting projects across residential, commercial, and infrastructure sectors. You'll have the chance to work closely with architects, developers, and contractors, providing technical leadership and creative design solutions. In addition to managing your own projects, you'll play a key role in mentoring junior engineers and shaping the future of the Poole team as the office continues to expand.

We are seeking a chartered or near-chartered Senior Structural Engineer with proven project management experience, excellent technical knowledge, and strong client facing skills. This is an opportunity for someone who enjoys both hands on design and taking ownership of projects, while helping to develop and inspire a growing team.

• Strong technical design experience across steel, concrete, timber, and masonry.
• Proficiency in structural design software such as Tekla, Tedds, Robot, or similar.
• Proven track record of delivering projects to a high standard.
• Ability to manage workloads, lead project teams, and mentor junior engineers.
• Strong communication and client facing skills, with a collaborative approach.
• Chartered or near chartered status with ICE or IStructE.
• MEng or BEng in Civil Engineering (or equivalent).
