THE ROLE

The Structured FI Funding team originates, structures and manages cash positions supporting SME loan, asset finance and other debt receivable portfolios. You will set the strategy for this product line within the broader Structured FI Solutions team and design new products, or enhance existing ones, to ensure continued effectiveness of interventions in SME lending markets. You will lead the successful execution of these transactions within the agreed business plan which will include taking positions across all positions in the capital stack - either directly or indirectly. As the recognised expert for your products, you will act as a key point of reference for both internal and external stakeholders, while developing junior colleagues to build capability and continuity across the team.

You will have lead responsibility for transaction execution within your product line, in line with the business plan. You will oversee post-completion transition, working closely with Transaction Management and the Middle Office to ensure effective ongoing management. You will ensure continued compliance across your transactions, including risk management, Subsidy Control and, where relevant, procurement requirements. You will also mentor and develop junior team members, supporting the delivery of structured guarantees and other wholesale transactions.

You will bring proven experience of independently executing cash securitisations; asset-backed or specialty finance; and/or similar structured capital positions. You will demonstrate a thorough understanding of relevant structures, techniques and markets, alongside excellent knowledge of the regulatory framework applicable to your products.
