Academics Canterbury are seeking a nurturing and enthusiastic Year 1 Teacher to join a welcoming primary school in Canterbury. This role is ideal for someone passionate about early learning and supporting pupils as they transition into Key Stage 1.

The role as a Year 1 Teacher:
Deliver engaging lessons across the KS1 curriculum
Support pupils with early reading, writing, and maths development
Create a calm, structured, and inclusive learning environment
Monitor pupil progress and adapt teaching to meet individual needs
Work closely with support staff and parents
Requirements of a Year 1 Teacher:
QTS / ECTs welcome
UK classroom experience required
Strong understanding of the KS1 curriculum
Enhanced DBS (or willingness to apply)
Right to work in the UK - no visa sponsorship available
