Key Stage 2 Teacher Full-Time, Long-Term Opportunity

Location: Hemel Hempstead
Salary: £34,398 £46,839 (dependent on experience)
Start Date: February 2026

A well-regarded primary school in Hemel Hempstead is seeking a dedicated and passionate Key Stage 2 Teacher to join their team from February 2026. With a focus on inclusivity and whole-child development, the school offers a supportive environment where both staff and pupils are encouraged to thrive and reach their full potential.

This long-term position is open to experienced teachers as well as Early Career Teachers (ECTs) who are eager to make a positive impact on their students education and development.

The Role

As a Key Stage 2 Teacher, you will create a dynamic, engaging learning environment that encourages curiosity, confidence, and academic growth in your pupils.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and deliver well-structured, engaging lessons in line with the Key Stage 2 curriculum

  • Differentiate lessons to meet the needs of a range of learning abilities and styles

  • Monitor pupil progress and provide clear, constructive feedback

  • Maintain high standards of behaviour and achievement in the classroom

  • Collaborate with colleagues on planning, assessment, and curriculum development

  • Build strong relationships with parents and carers to support pupil development

  • Contribute to extracurricular activities and the broader school community

What We re Looking For
  • QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent

  • Experience teaching Key Stage 2 (ECTs with relevant placements will be considered)

  • Strong knowledge of the Key Stage 2 curriculum

  • Excellent classroom management skills and reflective teaching practice

  • Passion for nurturing children s academic and personal development

  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
