Healthwatch s remit covers all publicly funded health and social care services for adults and children. Healthwatch Brent, Healthwatch Westminster and Healthwatch Kensington & Chelsea are three of 152 local Healthwatch organisations. The Advocacy Project Hosts three services. We re building on the important work that s been done to date, planning for the future while bringing new insights from the voices of seldom heard and hard to hear groups. Looking across both the Run and Change spend, your goal is to forensically analyse this cost base, bring transparency to our tech budgets and help us optimise. What You'll Be Doing: True Partnering: Act as the go-to financial advisor for tech leaders, translating complex financials into clear narratives. Building the Blueprint: We need you to evolve our reporting processes. You'll build better transparency around our tech costs. Cost Efficiency: Identify, track and prove real-world savings across cloud consumption, SaaS, and managed services. Connecting the Dots: Gather financial data from different regional finance teams (using your advanced Excel skills) to create a single, clear picture of our tech spend. About You: Qualified: ACCA / ACA / CIMA (or equivalent) with solid post-qualified experience. Tech-Fluent: You don't need to know how to build a DevOps pipeline, but you definitely need to know what drives its costs. Insurance Experienced: You ideally have a background in insurance (or financial services) and understand how platforms interconnect, from pricing and policy management to claims handling and customer servicing. You will be working as part of a productive, high performing team to provide full support to the Paraplanners within the Advice Delivery Team. You will work alongside a Paraplanner on specific cases throughout the advice process, assisting in conducting research where appropriate. Responsibilities; Letter of Authority (LOA) Sending/Monitoring/Chasing • Sending LOAs to providers and monitoring progress of recent LOA submissions and obtaining plan information. Research • Providing high quality research and administrative support to the Paraplanners. This will be achieved by contacting providers to obtain and compile accurate policy information. • Recording policy information accurately into Provider Information Forms and Curo. • Undertaking research for asset allocation on existing client portfolios using FEAnalytics and our in-house research tools. • Undertaking whole-of-market research for protection and annuity quotes. • Preparing pension illustrations. • Conduct pension transfer analysis using SelectaPension Other Responsibilities • Speaking regularly with advisers, Paraplanners and CSAs to keep them up to date with advice in the pipeline. • Building strong and effective working relationships with other teams in the firm and third- party product providers. • Ensuring that all client records and data are maintained accurately. • Constructing model portfolios as required on relevant platforms. • Opportunity to draft simple advice letters and prepare tax calculations (outside of CGT) under supervision from a Paraplanner Manager. • There will be the opportunity to take part in projects on an ad-hoc basis as required by the business.
