We are recruiting a passionate and confident Secondary Science Teacher to join a supportive all boys secondary school in M19, Manchester. This is a long-term temporary opportunity for a teacher who can deliver engaging Science lessons across KS3 and KS4 and support pupils to achieve strong outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver high-quality Science lessons across KS3 and KS4
Create a positive, well-managed learning environment
Differentiate learning to meet a range of abilities and needs
Assess, track and report on pupil progress in line with school policies
Work collaboratively with the Science department and wider staff team
Uphold safeguarding and school policies at all times
Candidate Requirements (Essential):
QTS/QTLS (or equivalent UK-recognised teaching qualification)
Recent experience teaching Science in a UK secondary school
Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willing to apply)
Excellent communication and organisational skills
Desirable:
Experience working within an all boys school environment
Science specialism (Biology/Chemistry/Physics) to KS4
Ability to start immediately
