In this role, you will provide high-quality, tailored tuition to students across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 . You will focus on building academic confidence and social skills in core subjects like Maths, English, and Science . Key Information Pay Rate: £28-£30 per hour PAYE. Location: Flexible settings across Herefordshire, including school premises, students' homes, or public libraries. Hours: Flexible sessions ranging from 1 to 15 hours per week. Support: A responsible adult or carer will be present during sessions to assist with learners. Your responsibilities will include: Delivering tuition following the UK national curriculum . Developing and implementing tailored lesson plans unique to each child's learning style. Adjusting your teaching approach to ensure inclusivity and accessibility . Fostering a positive environment to build a student's self-esteem and confidence. Maintaining clear communication with families regarding student progress. Requirements Experience: Proven track record of delivering Primary Maths, English, or Science tuition. Knowledge: A strong understanding of the current UK national curriculum. Skills: Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to form long-term, meaningful relationships with young learners.
