Town Planner

An established and well-regarded planning and development consultancy is seeking a Town Planner to join its growing team in Winchester. This is an excellent opportunity for a planner looking to work on a varied portfolio of projects while developing their career within a supportive, professional environment.

Working as part of a multidisciplinary planning team, you will be involved in a broad range of projects across the residential, commercial, and mixed-use sectors. Responsibilities will include:

• Preparing, submitting, and managing planning applications

• Providing planning advice to clients and internal stakeholders

• Undertaking planning appraisals and feasibility assessments

• Liaising with local authorities, consultants, and clients

• Contributing to appeals, policy reviews, and site promotions (depending on experience)

• Degree-qualified in Town Planning or a related discipline

• MRTPI-qualified or working towards chartership

• Previous experience within a consultancy or local authority environment

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Commercial awareness and a client-focused approach

• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively
