Senior Quantity Surveyor - Infrastructure (Consultancy)

The Opportunity

An established, highly regarded consultancy is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join its team delivering a major infrastructure programme in London. Working within a PMO environment, this role offers exposure to complex, high-profile delivery while maintaining a strong consultancy-led, collaborative culture.

You will play a key role in cost planning, cost control and expenditure reporting, supporting informed decision-making at programme level. This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially astute QS who enjoys working close to both the client and the project, while benefiting from the structure and progression of a larger consultancy platform.

About the role:

  • Operate as part of the PMO, supporting programme-wide cost planning and financial reporting
  • Monitor and report on project expenditure, forecasts, and variances
  • Support cost assurance, change control and commercial governance processes
  • Work under NEC contracts, providing commercial insight and advice
  • Engage with stakeholders across client, consultant and delivery teams
  • Split time between a Central London office and a North London site

About you:

  • Chartered Quantity Surveyor (MRICS)
  • Strong experience in infrastructure or major projects
  • Solid working knowledge of NEC contracts
  • Confident producing cost plans, reports and expenditure analysis in a PMO or programme-led environment
  • Collaborative, detail-oriented, and comfortable working within a small, high-performing team
  • Flexible to work between office and site locations in London

In return:

  • Be a key member of a close-knit team, with the backing of a larger, well-established consultancy
  • Genuine focus on people, collaboration and long-term careers
  • Extensive benefits package, including strong professional and wellbeing support
  • Outstanding mentorship and chartership/professional development culture
  • Clear progression opportunities across a wider business and portfolio of major projects

If you're looking for a senior role where your input is visible, valued, and supported - within a consultancy that genuinely invests in its people - there are few better platforms to build your career.
