Assembler

24,000 - 27,000 p/a, Monday - Friday 9am - 5pm, Full-time, Permanent, 28 days holiday (increasing with service), Pay increases with training, Discretionary annual bonus scheme.

The Role

We are pleased to be working with a manufacturing company that are seeking someone at the start of their career, and interested in assembly or production based work. This is an exciting and rare opportunity to join a small, closeknit team within a well established business, and learn on the job with ongoing training and development.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing stock levels, conducting inventory checks, and preparing shipments.
  • Assembling, testing, and packing products to meet quality standards.
  • Maintaining accurate production records and documentation.
  • Operating power tools and equipment safely, following strict guidelines.
  • Maintenance of equipment and machinery.
  • Loading and unloading deliveries.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, good manual dexterity, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Experience in a manufacturing or production environment is desirable but not essential, as full training is provided. This role involves manual handling, and candidates must be able to lift up to 25kg. This would be an ideal role for a candidate that has completed college and is interested in manual work, or suit someone who has just started working as a Production Operative, Assembly Technician, or Manufacturing Assistant.

You will be joining a hugely successful business in their small office, based on the outskirts of Haywards Heath. About 10 people work from the building in a hugely supportive and friendly environment. Package

  • 24,000 - 27,000 depending on experience
  • Monday to Friday, 9am - 5pm / 1-hour unpaid lunch break + 15 minute paid tea break
