Job Description

ANZUK Education is proud to be working in exclusive partnership with a highly regarded independent specialist school in South West London to recruit a Paediatric Occupational Therapist with additional training in Sensory Integration.
This is a unique opportunity to join a well-established, transdisciplinary therapy team supporting children and young people with speech, language and communication needs, ASD, and sensory and emotional regulation difficulties. Therapy is fully embedded into the school day, allowing practitioners to see meaningful, long-term outcomes.
The successful candidate will primarily support Upper Primary and Secondary pupils, delivering 1:1, small group and in-class interventions, and designing bespoke therapy programmes based on professional judgement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide an Occupational Therapy service focusing on sensory-motor development, functional and life skills
  • Complete formal and informal assessments and develop individual therapy programmes
  • Plan, deliver and evaluate group OT sessions with measurable targets
  • Work closely with teaching staff to integrate therapy strategies into the classroom
  • Contribute to Annual Reviews and liaise with parents and external professionals
  • Maintain accurate therapy records and case notes
  • Promote positive behaviour in line with school policy
  • Adhere to HCPC professional standards and safeguarding procedures
The Ideal Candidate Will Have
  • A recognised Degree in Occupational Therapy
  • HCPC registration
  • Sensory Integration training (essential)
  • Experience working within a paediatric and/or educational setting
  • Experience supporting pupils with ASD and complex communication needs
  • High levels of emotional resilience, flexibility and adaptability
  • Strong communication, organisational and teamwork skills
