You will bring your experience and expertise in Quality Assurance, Quality Control, and Project Management, ideally within the power sector, particularly in High Voltage, along with an open and enthusiastic 'hands on' approach.

This exciting opportunity will require 30% of travel with regular trips to Ireland.

How you'll make an impact
  • Managing Non conformances (SAP Q Notifications), Customer complaints, Root Cause Analysis 8D reports, and Customer case handling (within and without warranty)
  • Analysing all failures and concerns on site, factories and within the supply chain, and reviewing customer site I&C quality plans, method statements, and Quality Documentation
  • Create, maintain, and manage Inspection Test Plans (ITPs), Site Acceptance Test Plans (SATs), and Factory Acceptance Test (FATs)
  • Perform training and analyse Quality cases and execute internal audits on sites, suppliers, and global quality standards assurance (GQSA)
  • Work on and maintain a bespoke High Voltage Service Business Management System (BMS)
  • Maintain the local Quality Management System (QMS) and ensure compliance with High Voltage requirements
  • Process Mapping, Development, and documentation in Hitachi ADONIS systems
  • Produce reports and manage Quality KPIs in accordance with business targets with cost of poor quality (COPQ)
Your background
  • Proven experience in Quality Engineering within the Energy sector is essential
  • Experience in coaching of L6S projects, continuous improvement (CI), and training within quality
  • Strong understanding of quality assurance processes, audits, and inspections
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Detail oriented with a problem solving mindset
  • Understanding of the ISO 9001 Quality standard and Subject Matter Expertise (SAP)
